| December 13, 2008: Ultrapure Quartz Chemical Heaters Improve Process Control and Purity | |
| New at Semicon West — Chemical heating modules built for targeted temperature response, low maintenance, and high process purity. Dubbed “I.Q.” for its modular, Inline Quartz design, the Trebor® brand chemical heater is constructed with a crevice-free flow path of GE214 quartz and PFA materials for ultrapure applications. The modular configuration allows a number of heaters to be connected — in parallel or in series — with multiple voltage options available, to achieve the power required. Unlike most competing chemical heating technologies, Trebor’s proprietary quartz heating elements lower the system cost of ownership by eliminating the maintenance necessitated by O-rings and IR bulbs, the cause of frequent failures and downtime.
